Webisode #27 with D.C.F.D; NOW...

Tulefog — Sun, 02/07/2010 - 14:42
Dear Battalion Viewers.
- Webisode #27: This is one of the biggest fires I have filmed since I started in 2003 with the San Francisco Fire Department.
Webisode #27 is the Hayes Street Fire with Washington D.C. Fire and EMS and it is now availible. I was keeping this show and the next show in reserve in case we got a television deal and it seems that will not happen.
I still find it amazing that the Discovery Channel will not to a series about Firefighters in any way, shape, or form; and we have met with them on three occasions...amazing and sad.
- Milwaukee: I have just returned a week early from filming in Milwaukee Wisconsin and we hope to bring you webisodes from that shoot sometime in the future...we still have five shows with both Tampa Fire-Rescue and San Diego Fire and Rescue.
One of the most emotional filming production I have done was in Milwaukee last week at the graduation of forty-nine young men that became firefighters. That is forty-nine out ot fifty and they had the highest EMS Training scores ever...amazing.
From the Mayor, the Chief, the Trainers and the Family and Friends, it was a very emotional journey that night and to tell you the truth, it brought quite a few tears to my eyes. I thought I would be there for fifteen minutes or so, I was there from beggining to the end...
Firefighter Ross from Ladder Truck 13, whom we have filmed with, handed his brother his shield...that was a wow for me.
- The Battalion Live Feed;
We had a good response from our Battalion Members who watched the "Battalion Live Feed" from Milwaukee and we hope to bring you a live feed weekly during Post-Production as well as Production. Let us know if you would like to see that via our "Help Us Redesign This Site" by clicking on the banner to your left.
We may be filming in the Northwest in the coming weeks, that is one of the reasons I returned from Milwaukee early.
We may also be filming in either London England or Sydney Australia in the coming months...stay tuned.
I hope you enjoy this webisode.
Post-Production: The sad thing for us is that we only have a week to edit our twenty-two minute webisodes...
Networks have four to five weeks and a staff of fifteen to twenty: what could we do if we had that time and staff...
Next Saturday is the start of Heavy Rescue with The Battalion-The Series: be safe out their...
Sincerely,
DRF

Dear Battalion, I want to
RMUNDELLAZFD — Wed, 02/17/2010 - 15:58Dear Battalion, I want to say Thank You for all you do for us the brotherhood, sisterhood in developing such an indepth look within the ranks of different departments, from big to small and to show what we do and how we do things, and even why things are done. Its suggested that FOX Reality TV and/ or A&E would host the program for the general public to see and perhaps film a few episodes here in lovly, dusty desert of Arizona. Once again Thank You fo your ongoing dedication to the fire service. Sincerly, R. Mundell SPFD stat.1
I have been doing more and
edwin — Mon, 04/05/2010 - 07:11I have been doing more and more Quality Assurance on auditions java hosting submitted through Voice123 (the online voice-over audition and casting service) and at the same time, I answer emails from voice talent who express to me that they have not gotten work.
Whether they are experienced in offline voice-over image hosting casting or not experienced at all, many manage to make the same mistakes that I have seen cost them voice-over work.
From those three factors, I get a sense that some may get emotionally charged up, which is EXACTLY why you should keep reading.
Also keep in mind that I am describing mistakes made by everyone at some point. I have now seen it happen, and I blush managed hosting because I made the same mistakes at some point, while using Voice123.
I understand where a talent comes from linux hosting. I also know that the greatest education comes from those who have made mistakes, and then learned why they were mistakes.

edwin — Tue, 04/27/2010 - 01:31“People talk about progressive rock as pompous 1Y0-962, fussy, obsessed with technique, but the only thing the best progressive rock bands had in common was ambition 1Y0-972,” he says. “They risked falling flat on their faces because they were reaching for something beyond the obvious. People like David Bowie and Frank Zappa had that too. Where would Radiohead 1z0-501 or Massive Attack be without it? They’re also in the progressive tradition in that like Yes, Pink Floyd or King Crimson1z0-620, they concentrate on the album as an art form, treat the album as a musical journey that tells a story.”
