It's about the job...First Responders - CPFR -Webisode #4

Tulefog — Sat, 05/15/2010 - 20:37

Dear Battalion Viewers,

Webisode #4 with Central Pierce Fire & Rescue is ready for your viewing.

You all know that we film 24/7 for two-weeks with each department and we bring you a 24 hour tour with each crew...this is a 24 with Engine Company 66 and it's crew on this day.

Firefighters love to fight fires, but the job is taking care of people. In the US, firefighters are first responders, the first to be on scene...we continue with their stories and their 24...it's not an easy job...

Be safe.

EMS and Central Pierce saving lives...

Tulefog — Thu, 05/06/2010 - 18:43

Dear Battalion Viewers,

The next few webisodes with Central Pierce Fire & Rescue, were some of the most difficult to film for me...I saw a lot of dealth on this one...and I am not a firefighter...

The next four weeks are really about what first responders see day in and day out, and these are things no one should see; not even once...

I know you all want to see fires...and they are coming...

But let's focus on the job...the job is saving lives and not putting yourself in danger...and on every medical call, the dangers are out there...be safe...

Central Pierce Webisode #2 - a new tradition

Tulefog — Sat, 05/01/2010 - 11:47

Dear Battalion Viewers,

We will now continue with the Central Pierce Fire & Rescue Series from the State of Washington.

Webisode #2 is up and ready for your viewing. Many departments across the nation have strong family traditions where the great grandfather was a firefighter, and his son, and his son...and so on.

Central Pierce Fire & Rescue is a relative new department derived from a merger that brings great patient care to this region and new beginnings for many families. This webisode is about a father and son and this may be a start for a new family tradition for the next 100 years.

As you know by now, this series is not about fire or patients...it is about the job and what it takes to do this job...

Be safe.

Sincerely,

DRF

FDIC Rocked...Central Pierce Fire & EMS - a famlily tradition

Tulefog — Thu, 04/29/2010 - 18:24

Dear Battalion Viewers,

FDIC rocked for us this year, actually this was our first year. The booth looked pretty cool for PVC, you can check it out on our Facebook Page.

Tachyon Helmet Cameras shared our booth and did some bang up business.

Brett, our new Associate Producer and I had at least 20 meetings with manufactures. We are in hopes of many of these manufactures coming on-board to support your series...I may name names later for you to email and give them a little kick.

Pierce is coming back as a Major Sponsor and we are very proud to once again be a part of Pierce; we think they are the best in the business and in case you did not know this, the only UL Approved manufacture of apparatus in the US.

Friday Night at 7:00 we return with Central Pierce Fire & Rescue near Tacoma Washington. This is a special show about a son following in his fathers foot steps, a first for this family. ...Read more

The Battalion at FDIC...

Tulefog — Thu, 04/22/2010 - 21:06

Dear Battalion Viewers:

Our plan was to have a Battalion Live Feed from our Booth at FDIC but  our guest, Chief DennisRubin from Washington D.C. Fire and EMS, will not be there and had to cancel his trip to Indy.

Thier will not be a webisdoe this week nor a live fieed.

Join us next Friday when we return with Central Pierce Fire & Rescue.

If you are at FDIC, please come by and visit us at our booth #3358.

Be safe.

Sincerely,

DRF
