Although it says Re-Cut Tampa Webisode #3, this is not a re-cut. It is Webisode #3 with Engine 1 at the Big House; Headquarters...

We re-cut Webisode #2 with Engine 4, you may have noticed, check it, we think its better.

These multi-camera webisodes are tough to Edit in five-days...yes, we only get five days to edit each show each week...it's a killer...

It"s the weekend and we can't find our tech...he will change the text as soon as we can find him.

Did you notice that the Orange Rescue Combi tool in the San Diego Webisode crashed and burned on that call…

I am not an expert, but I was informed by Allen Discount, a representative for a very high quality rescue tool company, that some manufactures of Rescue Tools products are not, excuse my pun, “cutting it” out there in the field.

I am going to call them “mixed metals” and they are very light, by have a lot of strength due to structure design. That is one of the many challenges of the manufactures of Rescue Tools; to keep up with the new developments of these new combination metals.

You see it in this webisode that even on this older Nissan, the Orange Combi Cutter could not cut-it…

If not for Truck 4 showing up on scene with the Amkus Rescue Tools; it may have been much more difficult to remove the victim from this vehicle.

As you know, we have to get clearance for every webisode from the Department of which we have a Series with.

This week, it's San Diego Fire Rescue. Due to some explicit shots in the show that needed to be removed by the request of the department, we are working today to finish this webisode, get final clearance, and have it up and ready for you by 7:00.

By some of the emails I receive, many viewers think this is easy...it is not.

In fact, it is very difficult...

It is also very difficult to edit a show that the Department will approve and sometimes we have to wait for them to have the time to view and approve, they are busy saving lives...

We continue to do our best…

I have been receiving emails for months as to when the Washington D.C. Fire and EMS Series would be on sale on DVDs at The Battalion Store.

It is now availible; all twenty-five webisodes. Just click on the Battalion Store Banner.

The very cool thing is that the Washington D.C. Fire and EMS Series may be returning in January of 2010 with all new webisodes...To be honest, we have held back some of our biggest fires from D.C. and now its time to break them out.

This of course will only happen if we get a big response.

This Saturday, at 7:00PM PST, will be the next webisode with San Diego Fire Rescue...we will intorduce you to the Chief and Engine 12/Truck 12...stay tuned.
