We finish up a 24 with the crew from Engine 9 on a morning structure fire. We catch a morning meeting with the Battalion Chief and the next cre up. We also start the next 24 back at Station 9 with firefighter Robert Castillion, he just made Captain and he's at the busiest station in Fresno, Station 3 and Garcia is the Engineer. We catch them in the kitchen cooking and then eating lunch. Next up, a little basketball at a nearby school. After a they pratice, the square off with the youths that have been playing on the other half-court; it's on. A call comes in, it's a rubbish fire. Next, a call that can go either way as a Hazmat call. It's Night, we are back at Station 9, we find the crew in the engine bay doing todays exercise, boxing, and they know what they are doing. Back at Station 3, a yound Explorer has come to ride along tonight, and they catch a little fire; he's happy. Then, the call comes in, both engine companies respond. Engine 3 is on-scene with Truck 4 when Engine 9 arrives, Engine 9 is put into a hold, Engine 3 jumps off the rig, tonight they are testing out some Key Combat Ready Hose line, it pulls out great; they are on this mattress wharehouse fire for a little while. Engine 9 goes AOR while Engine 3's crew start salvage.
