It's 4th of July in San Francisco and we ride with Medic 2 to the the park – it's a head gash. We then follow Rescue 2, a few calls with E7, they help a man who just wants to talk to somebody. The Captain takes his time and shows the man respect. Next it's a possible fire in an apartment building which leads to a busy night including a large vegetation fire. Meet the B.C. who is about to retire and Division Chief Frank Cardinale. With all of this going on, it was funnly for the Chief to drop in on our production crew to thank them for the quietest 4rh of July they have ever had. They say cameras bring in dark clouds and no calls...we'll see.
