Station 3, Engine 3 "A" Shift with Captain Palmer. Travelers are Firefighters without a Station for a home, and they cover all firefighters at all the stations in a Battalion. Today, we are with Firefighter David Ramirez as he works in the kitchen on some chow. A call comes in, it's a medical call. Sometime we have to chose what to film, out of respect of a family that had passed, while family members were fighting, we chose not to film at all. Next, a fire alarm goes off, we arrive on scene to find a leak. Possibly homeless people removed the Brass Sprinkler head from the external fire preventive system, we presume to sell. They find the main valve and take care of the problem. Next, a call comes in for a structure fire, we arrive on-scene to find a homeless person operating a BBQ inside this vacant home that is supposed to be secured by this plywood. Engine 3 has to deal with a tremendous amount of homeless in this part of town. It' does get cleaned up.Next, another structure fire, busy day in the high heat of Central California, Vacant, but still dangerous. Night, back at the station, what's next?
